Registration and team build timeline for Summer 2018-19 players returning for Winter 2019
Below are the age groups by year of birth for Winter 2019:
U19s 2001, 2002, 2003
U16s 2004, 2005
U14s 2006, 2007
U12s 2008, 2009
U10s 2010, 2011, 2012 inclusive
Behind the scenes we will start working on teams in about mid January/early February. Yes it sounds early but it needs to be done early given the size of the Club and the number of teams we have. We will also be opening and closing our registrations earlier again so watch out for those emails. Fees may increase due to the KBA going cashless from Winter 2019 (meaning the $2.50 entry fee will no longer apply from Winter 2019 and instead be built into the player registration fee).
The proposed timeline is as follows:
A calendar with dates for the upcoming Winter 2019 Season will be loaded as soon as it becomes available to Clubs.

Please noted that some Clubs collect weekly score sheet fees from parents each game day. Aberfeldie Jets instead, collect these fees at the commencement of each season to avoid cash handling on game day, to ensure all players pay a fair and equal amount and to ensure the Coach/Team Manager are not left out of pocket on the day if families don't bring money with them.
Prompt payment is appreciated and keeps the Club running smoothly. Just like running a household, the Club has expenditures and without income in the form of fees, our bills to KBA and the like cannot be paid. Failure to pay player/coach fees on time, will result in late fees being applied and/or removal of the offending player/coach from the team.
Siblings discounts apply. To receive the sibling discount all players must be paid for in the same transaction. Players whose parent/guardian coach an Aberfeldie Jets team or are on the Committee also receive a discount.
For new players, uniform costs for singlet and shorts is $85, An approved Club uniform is a mandatory requirement of the KBA. Optional extras like Club socks, hoodies and caps are available for purchase but not mandatory.
Playing in more than one Aberfeldie Jets team? Then approval from the Registrar is required and a second team fee applies
Any Jets player that plays in a second team (for example a player allocated and registered to both U12 and U14's) is required to pay a second team fee. You must pay a second team fee in addition to a standard registration and the Jets Registrar must be notified and approve you playing for a second team. Keilor Basketball Association By-laws, Junior Domestic Competition (effective June 2016) clauses 4.5, 5.3 and 6.10 apply.

New players allocated to a team by an Aberfeldie Jets Registrar
Parents/guardians you will be sent a link once your child has been allocated to a team by an Aberfeldie Jets Registrar or the Admin Officer (not a Coach, a Team Manager or another parent, but an Aberfeldie Jets Registrar or the Admin Officer). Do not complete payment unless advised by a Registrar or the Admin Officer.
