Registration information for Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers
4 steps to register yourself as a Coach, Assistant Coach or Team Manager
1. Registering yourself as a coach (mandatory)
The Club requires all Coaches details to be recorded on SportsTG, separate from your child's/children's playing record. Please provide your details via the link below
2. Working with Children Check (WWCC) application (mandatory)
All Aberfeldie Jets Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers over the age of 18, require a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) in accordance with the legislation introduced by the Victorian State Government. The only exceptions to this are teachers who are currently registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and current serving Victorian Police Officer or Australian Federal Police officers (not under suspension). Police Officers need to provide their VP number and VIT registered teachers need to provide a copy of their VIT card.
If you haven't registered for a WWCC with Aberfeldie Jets before, click the link below. It's an easy online process and for volunteer checks it's free. Once lodged online you will need to finalise your application at a participating Victorian Australia Post outlet and then email the Club admin officer with your application details. Without the WWCC the Club cannot allow you to act as a Coach. Once you receive your card please take a photo of it and email it to the Club admin officer.update your details and add Aberfeldie Jets as an organisation to your WWCC records.
