SUMMER 2021-2022
Important info:
- The 2021-2022 Summer Season is split across three terms
- Under 8's do not play finals, the end date of the season for U8's is yet to be confirmed
- The persons fulfilling score-bench duties are reminded that they are deemed to be officials for the duration of the game and should behave in a manner expected of game officials (fair, un-biased etc - Refer to Basketball Victoria code of conduct BV Codes of Conduct). Scorers should be reasonable and respectful in their approach to confirming which players are noted at being at the game or not. Any issue or dispute in the matter will ultimately be decided by the referees of the game on the day
- For the avoidance of doubt, if a player is in uniform and able to play, even if they do not get on the court (e.g. coaches decision), they should be confirmed as active on the electronic scoring. Players who are not at the game, or not able to play as they are injured, or are not in uniform should not be marked as active
History:
2021 - This is Aberfeldie Jets first ever season in the Broadmeadows Basketball Association and first time we have ever had Under 8 teams in the forty two year history of the Club.
