Important info:
- The 24 Winter Season is 17 rounds long for all age groups
- Finals are not included in Season length, only regular rounds
- Under 8's do not play finals
- The persons fulfilling score-bench duties are reminded that they are deemed to be officials for the duration of the game and should behave in a manner expected of game officials (fair, un-biased etc - Refer to Basketball Victoria code of conduct BV Codes of Conduct). Scorers should be reasonable and respectful in their approach to confirming which players are noted at being at the game or not. Any issue or dispute in the matter will ultimately be decided by the referees of the game on the day
- For the avoidance of doubt, if a player is in uniform and able to play, even if they do not get on the court (e.g. coaches decision), they should be confirmed as active on the electronic scoring. Players who are not at the game, or not able to play as they are injured, or are not in uniform should not be marked as active
- To qualify for finals this season all players will need to play 6 games
- You can check how many games a player has played by going to the public interface on PlayHQ and clicking on their team name and finding them in the team list and looking at their stats (make sure the tabs are set to Aberfeldie Jets Basketball Club and Summer 2024 so the correct info shows up). An example of what you see is shown below. Please note: if the family has ticked the privacy box when registering their child the player name will not show up and you will need to speak to your Coach or Team Manager to have them confirm if the player has qualified for finals.
